2nd unanimously adopted a resolution of the Council of the United Nations, decided to include United Nations Libya support to extend the mandate of the Mission for three months, until March 16, 2012.

　　Resolutions say that mission in Libya after transition to coordination and consultation, is responsible for assisting and supporting Libya eliminate all types of arms and related materiel in the country, especially portable surface to air missile proliferation threats.

　　Resolution said, looking forward to the Mission of the Council and Libya the Transitional Government and the international financial institutions and other international partners for cooperation, and to conduct a needs assessment before March 16 next year, so that the United Nations in accordance with Libya of the Transitional Government needs to continue to coordinate the work of the international community to support the Transitional Government.

　　On September 16 this year, the United Nations Security Council unanimously adopted a resolution, it decided to establish the United Nations Libya supported the Mission for a period of three months.
